The leadership team at Kasalis combines a rich understanding of the optoelectronics industry with an outside-the-box approach to the development of next generation active alignment equipment. The team has collaborated with leading companies in Asia, Europe, and the Americas to develop enabling technologies for the manufacture of numerous solutions for consumer electronics, including smartphones, automotive components, and gesture recognition tools. Using advanced optical theory and proprietary research, the team fuses their engineering and business acumen to advance the industry standard.

Justin Roe, President, brings over 25 years of experience in optoelectronics and engineering to Kasalis. He has been the president of four companies over the last 20 years and previously worked as a strategy and innovation consultant for Analysis Group. He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and BS in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Rich By, Director of Software, has over 20 years of experience in the design and implementation of computer systems to control complex automated manufacturing equipment with a focus on CMOS camera systems, photo-electronic device alignment, and bio-medical device manufacture. He holds a BA from Michigan State University.
Aaron Israelski, Director of Business Development, brings over 15 years of expertise in leading multi-million dollar projects in the photonics industry for both commercial and defense customers in the US, Europe, and Asia. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.
Mark Kozak, Director of Engineering, leads the development of engineering technologies at Kasalis and provides technical and process expertise for the entire product lifecycle. He has nearly 20 years of experience designing and managing precision capital equipment projects for the optoelectronics and photonics industries. Mark has an MS and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University.
